2. NCC Special Entry

Flying Branch: 10% seats out of CDSE vacancies for Permanent Commission (PC) and 10% out of AFCAT vacancies for Short Service Commission (SSC).


🎓 Eligibility Criteria for IAF AFCAT 2025

🔞 Age Limit (as on 01 July 2026)

Flying Branch: 20 to 24 years (born between 02 July 2002 to 01 July 2006)


✈️ CPL Holders: Age relaxation up to 26 years (born between 02 July 2000 to 01 July 2006)


Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical): 20 to 26 years (born between 02 January 2000 to 01 January 2006)


💍 Marital Status

  • Must be unmarried at the time of course commencement.


  • Marriage is not permitted during training.


📚 Educational Qualification

All candidates must have:


  • Minimum 50% marks in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level, and


One of the following:


  • Graduation (3-year degree) with 60% marks


  • BE/B.Tech (4-year degree) with 60% marks


  • AMIE/ Aeronautical Society of India with 60% marks (Sections A & B)


Note: Final-year students may apply if they have no current backlogs and have scored at least 60% marks up to the last semester.
